'Last days of Summer'
This Lyme Regis painting was created at the end of a long warm summer, a time when the transition into a new season brings a fresh perspective. Each change in colour, light, and movement inspires me deeply. In this work, I’ve captured the very essence of The Cobb on a summer’s day—its timeless charm and vibrant atmosphere.
To enrich the visual experience, I incorporated handpainted collage papers, adding texture and a lush depth that breathes life into the scene. This blend of acrylic and collage creates a dynamic, tactile quality, inviting viewers to feel the warmth and serenity of that special moment along the Jurassic Coast.
53 × 43 × 4cm
Image size 40 × 30cm
Protected with UV satin varnish
Solid wood frame hand finished in a low sheen white paint
