Buying a painting
Purchasing with a deposit
If you would like to purchase an original painting over £400 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting.
The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
Payment opotions
Paying by bank transfer
There is a checkout option to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer. This saves me credit card fees.
If you select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others.
Where do you deliver to?
Online purchases are delivered to addresses within the UK only.
If you are overseas, outside the UK, and would like to make a purchase please get in touch to discuss shipping options as Royal Mail have increased their prices recently. It is possible but I would have to generate a custom quote for shipping to other parts of the world.
How much does delivery cost?
Paintings over £100 get free delievery!
For other items, delivery is based on weight and will be calculated at checkout.
By selecting ‘Packing and Delivery’ at the checkout, the delivery charge will be applied to your order.
Most smaller items will cost between £2.95 and £8.00 depending on the item which will be shown at checkout.
Collect in Person
Alternatively you may wish to collect your painting from the studio near Lyme Regis. Click ‘Collect from Studio’ at the check out. You will not be charged for delivery.
How do you ship paintings?
It is very important to me that you are happy with your purchase so each painting is carefully packaged using protective cardboard & bubble wrap. They are securely taped and clearly labelled.
Packages are delivered to you via either Parcel Force, UPS, DPD or another courier service.
How quickly can I receive my painting?
On receipt of your order I will advise you of delivery times. You will typically receive your purchase within 15 working days. For smaller items such as cards, gifts and prints, it is very likely that the items will be sent out within a few days. Packing up a large painting with care takes longer.
Whilst I will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, I do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.
In some cases paintings are framed on order. Framing artwork means it will take longer than usual to receive your delivery. I will advise you of timing on receipt of your order.
Delivery problems

If my delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products; however, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even if the initial delivery was free of charge).
Returns policy
I understand that you may wish to return a product.
You will be entitled to return a product to me and receive a refund in accordance with this policy.
If the item is damaged in any way I will pay the cost of returning the item to my studio.
If you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for the cost of this. As a very small business, this is an expense I cannot provide for free.
The item must be returned within 14 days from receipt.
Returns procedure
• Notify me that you wish to return a product within 7 days of receiving delivery.
