Next week I will be driving up to Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire to hang my paintings at the ‘CREATIVE COVERAGE EXHIBITION’ at The Theatre. Having grown up there, I know a few folks and I’m going to make the most of it. I’ve rented an AirB&B for the night and I’m going out for dinner with my best mate from primary school! Cant wait…
It occured to me that I am gathering quite a collection of Colmer’s Hill images.
I have a larger original, my latest piece ( Early Frost on Colmer’s Hill’ ), which is going to the Big Colyton Art Show in 3 weeks as well as 2 different prints, cards and several ‘Mini’ paintings. I even have magnets and keyrings for fun because, why not?
The larger originals dont hang around very long!
This one is available for sale on the BCAS website… www.bigcolytonartshow.co.uk

I have been wanting to paint an updated version of my bestseller, ‘Old Town Summer’ for ages and in a different colourway. Introducing….’Old Town & Cobb’ which I will be selling for £250.00.
It measures 52 x 52 cm and has brightened up my lounge no end….
This little painting is a bit of a departure for me but I was moved to paint it by a good friend who has been going through a bad time lately. He visited Glastonbury Tor once and it has always been a special place for him so this is one of two pieces. The other is now happily living in Mendocino, California.
I am always happy to undertake commissions for gifts and with Christmas coming up ( sorry ) its the perfect time to get the ball rolling....
Dorset Art weeks is now over and there I was, getting ready to take a breather, but no! I managed to get myself a new event lined up for October - The Big Colyton Art Fair at Colyton Grammar School, East Devon. I think I will be exhibiting about 5 paintings along with prints and cards but watch this space....
These are some of the paintings that have found new homes over Dorset Art weeks...
Day 11 and the sky is still blue! paintings are going off to live in different places- Australia being the furthest! Its a beautiful time of year and there is plenty to see and do here at Rocombe Farmhouse so come and visit!
Phew what a scorcher, as they say..
I had a very successful start to DAW selling 5 paintings on the first weekend which is fantastic. we managed to sell some plants and cakes and raised some money for Parkinsons Uk too.
